8Q is the new experimental wing of the Singapore Art Museum. ohplay was commissioned to develop an extensive set of print materials for its launch event and art exhibition. The concept of the event was “School” as 8Q was formerly and old school compound.

We devised a font treatment and played around the idea of items reminiscent of school days, i.e. jotter book for the catalog. Colors played an important role too, for example the use of a deep green to simulate a blackboard.
