We were asked to create an brand identity and website for Arts Business Asia – a company that connects the art world to the corporations for collaborative art projects.
There was something charming about using a simple visual of painted stroke to “Connect” both worlds together, appealing to both artists and corporations. We also proposed that each partner had his/her namecards personalised with actual painted splats.
The same visual was translated to fit the corporate brochure and the website respectively. For the brochure, a simple fold-out reveals the idea, whilst in the website, the visual becomes a long horizontal scroll. Executed in Javascript, the end result is light and SEO-friendly.
