Creative Director
Kiat started out his career in design as art director at WORK, a Singapore-based boutique agency at the helms of graphic design legend Theseus Chan. In his 4 years at WORK, he provided the necessary facelift for the Tangs brand.
Soon after being nominated as Young Art Director Of The Year at the CCA awards, he was headhunted to GOSH advertising agency, during which he garnered a total of 14 international awards for his work which included a finalist nomination for best campaign at the Young Guns award, which merits the world's best young creative talent under 30.
After his stint at GOSH, he went on to join the international advertising circuit and contributed his work to agencies such as BBDO, Ogilvy and Lowe. In his 12 years in the industry, he has worked on clients both local and regional such as VISA, AMEX, Bang & Olufsen, DBS, Tiger, Baron's, IKEA, Banyan Tree and HSBC amongst others.
New Media Director
Ken has been involved in all levels of interactive design over a career lasting more than 10 years. He commenced his career at Edge Consultants working with brands such as Nokia and the Singapore Supreme Court. He then went on to join Formul8 as part of the pioneering team. In his role as Interactive Developer over the next 2 years, he worked on projects for corporate clients such as SingPost and The Hour Glass. These experiences led him to his current creative partnership with Kiat, named ohplay.
As a strong advocate of web usability, Ken applies his sound understanding of web design to all his projects, resulting in work that portray his "less is more" principal of design. Ken prefers whiskey with soda and collects art in his free time.
Business Development Director
Swee Lyn has been involved in all levels of marketing communications, from both client and agency perspectives, over the past 10 years. Kicking off her career with The Event Company, she has since moved on to Mediacorp News, The Filter Group, Levi Strauss Asia-Pacific Division and ohplay.
Her varied interests in the areas of fashion, sports, music, travel and art led her to work at The Filter Group, a youth marketing consultancy, where she worked on global brands like Coca-Cola, Xbox and Adidas. With this under her belt, she then moved on to the position of Specialist Regional Marketeer for Levi's Strauss Asia-Pacific, which allowed her to immerse into the corporate sector across the region, providing leadership in brand communications. In 2007, she joined ohplay as a Business Development Director and has since worked on a broad spectrum of clients, both locally and internationally.
Swee Lyn is also a certified yoga instructor.
